Congrats to the section team members!   We wish you well on Thursday, Oct.25, 2018 at Princeton Golf Course.

Parking: The lot at the clubhouse will be reserved for workers, team busses, and
handicap parking. There is a small overflow parking lot for spectators, but
most will have to park along city streets. Please inform parents to allow
additional time for parking and walking to the venue.

Bus leaves at 9:30AM

A shout out to HOLIDAY GAS STATION on 26th Ave. E and London Rd. for donating a cup of hot chocolate to the entire Cross Country team last week for Fun Food Fridays! Super delicious and wonderful way to enjoy the fall weather!

For most of our student-athletes this week marks the end of the regular season for cross country running.  One more meet to get your goal, personal record, or gain a spot on the section team.  Good luck to all!

Monday- Regular practice 3:40-5:15PM  Captain applications due by end of practice Monday.

Tuesday- Meet at Proctor-  Middle school excused at 2:00Pm, High Schoolers excused at 2:15 bus leaves at 2:30PM.There is only one bus there and back.  If driving to race must park in lower lot of city equipment and railroad services.

Race Order :  Girls JV and Varsity at 4:00PM

Boys JV and Varsity  at 4:30PM

Middle School combined boys and girls  at 5:00PM

Wednesday- Captain candidate speeches, voting, and locker clean out for non section participants.  Section team will be announced at practice Wednesday.

Thursday-  AM practice section teams only at 9:00AM

Friday-Sunday  run on own coaches will give you suggested workouts on Thursday AM

BANQUET IS AT 6:00PM at East THURSDAY NOV. 8, $5 per person athletes and guests each.  Potluck style see RSVP form for details. Forms located outside Coach Peller’s room 2020.  Turn in RSVP by Wed. Oct. 31 to Coach LaFontaine.  Middle School students may turn their RSVP to counselor office at Ordean Middle School.

Pictures will be handed out Wednesday or at Banquet.

Swain without Rain!!!  Always a positive!  Congrats to those that competed in their first ever Swain.  Seniors, we hope it was a fabulous event that you will look back on and appreciate this legendary meet!  Thanks to the families that stepped up and helped at camp, clean up and general help throughout the day.  Student-athletes that arrived on time and cleaned up we thank you and appreciate everything you contributed! It was a smooth day and we really needed all the support.   A shout out to Mr. Haggenmiller for the bike workout on the races!  You are incredible!  Webergs- all the photo opportunities that you continue to capture for the team!  Bensers- we like the new tents, thanks for the recommendation!

Monday– regular practice- We will announce those that are traveling to St. Cloud for meet at practice. Some are not joining us to this meet.

Tuesday-  St. Cloud Meet-  NO MIDDLE SCHOOL PRACTICE-  only select JV and Varsity attending the meet Non competing JV plan to run on your own 45 minutes

Excuse at 11:15 AM Bus leaves at 11:30AM sharp.  Late return- estimated at 11:15PM

Race Schedule:

3:30pm: Girls – Junior Varsity

4:00pm: Boys – Junior Varsity

4:30pm: Girls – Varsity (up to 8 runners)

5:00pm: Boys – Varsity (up to 8 runners)

Awards: The top 10 runners in girls and boys  JV races will receive medals at the finish. The top 10 runners in girls and boys varsity races will receive their medals in an awards ceremony directly after the meet outside of the clubhouse. The winning varsity teams will receive a trophy and cake at the awards ceremony directly after the meet.

Wednesday– optional 6:30AM practice  Regular practice 3:40-5:00PM

Thursday– regular practice 3:40-5:00Pm

Friday– optional/make up practice at 6:30AM  Regular practice at 3:40-5:00PM

Saturday-  Long run on weekend make sure to do these so you are coming into the final stretch of the season prepared.
