Boys and Girls Duluth East Cross Country Teams took 2nd in the Section 7AA meet today in Princeton.
They both qualify for state!!!!!!!
We will have a celebration as soon as the medals and trophies arrive. We will let you know as soon as we know.
Everyday is a blessing! Today we opened a whole bunch of presents!!!

Any sophomore or junior interested in being a captain for the 2021 season, please complete this google form by noon on Thursday, October 8. The responses will be compiled. On Friday, there will be a link to be able to vote.

We are planning a brief end of the season celebration on Monday, October 12 at EHS at the baseball stadium.

The section team will practice at 4:00 on Monday.

A Heartfelt Thank You to Neil and Cara Weberg for the amazing race pictures every week. It has been such a blessing to the coaches and parents. For those of you new to our team, the Webergs have been capturing these incredible moments for years. We have appreciated their time and talents!!!

Volunteers
We REALLY need about 6 people to help take the course down (collect cones, flags) after the last race on Thursday. We need 2 parents to help on the race course directing runners between the 3K and 5K course. One from 2:45 to 4 and one from 4 to 5:15.

No spectators near the start or finish line.
No spectators near camps.
Portable Restrooms are for team and coach use only.
Please do not arrive early and leave as soon as your race is complete. We must keep our overall numbers low for the day.
Remember to social distance and wear a mask. This is for the safety and success of our season.
No more that 5 from one household and all should leave immediately if someone is experiencing symptoms.

The Section Meet will be Thursday, October 15 at the Princeton Golf Course. Boys race at 1:55 and Girls at 2:55, We have very few details at this point. We will share as soon as we get them.
