Plan to arrive at Enger Park Golf Course at least 2 hours before your race.

Dress warmly. The forecast is for cold, windy, and rainy.
Be supportive of your teammates. Clean up after yourselves.
Stay and watch your teammates if possible.
Everyone from East and Denfeld should help with cleanup and tearing down of the course ( about 30 minutes). We make about $1,000 on this meet so please be helpful. Parents are welcome to help, too.
WE REALLY NEED A COUPLE OF PARENTS TO HELP WITH HANDING OUT MEDALS. THERE ARE AWARDS FOR ALL RACES AND OUR USUAL MEDAL SORTER IS UNAVAILABLE. WE NEED SOMEONE FROM ABOUT 9:30-3:00, BUT IF WE HAVE TWO OR THREE PEOPLE THEY COULD SWITCH OFF. The Milaca Mega-Meet is only a week away (see snack sign-up opportunity below) – Saturday, September 21 at the Stones Throw Golf Course (Milaca Golf Course). The meet has a helpful website, https://sites.google.com/site/megameet/, which has a map of the race course you can print out and bring with you, driving and parking directions, and race schedule. Porta-potty lines are long, parking may not be close to the course – plan accordingly. Course is ideal for spectating – you can catch the runners at several different points as they move through the race. It is a GREAT day and well worth the drive. With over 3,500 runners from all over the state, it is quite the event. First race at 10:00 a.m. (8th grade boys), last race at 2:15 p.m. (JV boys) – unless you’re running in the “alumni” race that follows at 2:40 p.m. (just need to be an alumni of something!). Hoping to see a solid contingent of East supporters to cheer on the team.
